can not seem to get front hub off?
hello, I have all the old center studs out. But he found the problem with putting the new Back in One have to remove the front axle. (front wheel drive car) took off the central nut .. noticed that nothing seemed to hold in the center (the car is a Kia Rio 04). I took my friends pulled hub and seemed to have little difference. I used liquid wrench .. tried some tapping with a rubber hammer .. I tried to use a 2×4 as a lever. I tired of light taps with a hammer and chisel Still the Center moved maybe a 1 / 4 cups??. I know the rear axle is about an inch .. what still needs to be withdrawals. I see no other nuts to be held in the center .. but the heart refuses to release. If push comes to shove I could get A new center and then proceed to beat the old man with a sledgehammer .. your thoughts .. Why is not the releaseing Hub?
If the new wheel bolts are a little too long, try mashed the head at an angle of settlement until there is enough to fall in. If you can grind the head of each bolt and still have integrity, there is nothing wrong with a little shade under a tree. Otherwise, you will have to proceed with the previous board and remove the shaft. The retaining ring is not accessible until the axis is removed. There is a special tool that can be purchased from a truck as a tool for Snap-On or Matco. I think the name is Buddy Hub or something.
